Who doesn’t love a good list to get stuff done? πŸ˜‚

Banks love info, so we’ve made this handy list to help you. And as is the case with every client, we’ll step you through to ensure you tick all the boxes.

 

1. Really Important Stuff

 

βœ“ Signed Contract for the property you’re buying

βœ“ Drivers Licence (front and back)

βœ“ Passport (or Birth Certificate if you don’t have a passport)

βœ“ Medicare Card

2. About Your Income

 

If you work for someone else

βœ“ 2 most recent payslips

βœ“ ATO Income Statement for this year and last year (you can get it from MyGov)

If you own a business or work for yourself

βœ“ Personal Tax Returns for this year and last year

βœ“ ATO Notice of Assessments for this year and last year

βœ“ Business Tax Returns for this year and last year

βœ“ Business Financial Statements for this year and last year

If you put us in touch with your accountant, we can grab this stuff from them for you!

3. Account Statements

 

Banks generally like to review these for a period of up to 3 months. You can click here to automatically bring in your bank statements, which should include stuff like:

βœ“ Main bank accounts (where pay goes in + main spending account)

βœ“ Savings account

βœ“ Any home loans & investment loans

βœ“ Credit card(s)

4. Other 'stuff' depending on your situation

 

βœ“ Most recent Rental Income statement or Lease Agreement (if you own an investment property)

βœ“ HECS / HELP statement (if you owe money from your studies)

βœ“ Car Lease / personal loan statement

βœ“ Afterpay / Zip Money (a screenshot of your limit will do)

βœ“ Family Tax Benefit statement

βœ“ Child Support Statement
